MBSC Integrated Marketing Communications
Program Overview
This program will examine the wide range interconnections of Above The Line (ATL), Below The Line (BTL) and Through The Line (TTL) marketing communication platforms to serve consistent business objectives. These will include advertising and advertising management, sponsorship in marketing, experiential marketing (i.e., events), digital outlets.
The program will also highlight customer journey mapping and how to improve customer touchpoints. Building a strong brand through brand equity and brand management process will be an integral part of this program. More importantly, we will discuss innovative and modern marketing approaches and technologies such as use of artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbots linked to customer journey.
The program will enable in-depth understanding of how and when these IMC mediums can be used effectively in relationship to product/service life cycle to inform, persuade, and remind customers about promotional offerings.
Participants will experience collaborative hands-on activities and interactive discussions. Marketing communications industry experts will be invited to participate in class sessions to further extend the practical experience of participants.

Aseel Al Ghamdi, Ph.D.
Program Director,
Assistant Professor of Marketing
Dr. Aseel Al Ghamdi is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship (MBSC) in Saudi Arabia. He received the Best Faculty Award in 2023 at MBSC and has taught various marketing courses. Additionally, Dr. Al Ghamdi is deeply involved in marketing communications, particularly in advertising and sports sponsorship. He has a strong network within major advertising agencies regionally and internationally, and with Saudi football clubs. As an international research fellow at the University of Guelph, Canada, he focuses on sport marketing and management research. Dr. Al Ghamdi has also held administrative roles, including Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at Jeddah College of Advertising (JCA), University of Business and Technology (UBT), from 2015 to 2018.
Abdulrahman Hariri, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship
Dr. Abdulrahman Hariri is an entrepreneurship instructor, author, and mentor with practical business experience and a proven record as an active player in the national entrepreneurship eco-system. Earning a Ph.D. in Engineering (Diffusion of Innovation) and a distinguished MSc in Business Excellence (Engineering) from the University of Warwick.
He founded and led Innovation Ventures, a Saudi technology company creating solutions to empower future entrepreneurs. Dr. Hariri's influence extends beyond his own company as he actively shapes the national entrepreneurship scene through his involvement on the Executive Committees for the "Next Era" initiative and NEOM's Food Accelerator program. Previously, he served as a Fund Advisor for the Wadi Jeddah Company Investment Fund.
Dr. Hariri's global perspective comes from his experience co-founding the Entrepreneurship Excellence Center while abroad. This organization designed and delivered programs for clients and universities in Saudi Arabia while collaborating with prestigious institutions like Y Combinator, Stanford University, and Google.
